Leaf Peeping Heaven

What a gorgeous weekend in Vermont! This has been an amazing year for color and our weekend was worth sitting in traffic for. I went for a terrific horseback ride on Sunday too, so my weekend was about as close to perfect as one can get. So as promised, here are some photos:

The view from my Mom's house (how lucky is she!?!)

Just down the street....

The driveway.....

Around the neighborhood....

p.s. I went to an Alanon meeting (Steve-a-roni) Sunday night too. My first one in years! It was terrific and I'm inspired to attend many more. Thanks Kathy Lynne for the suggestion. S went downstairs (AA) and I went up. A great experience for us to share. Thanks for all the encouragement, folks.

Wow - Fall is my favorite time of year here in Chicago and driving to Wisconsin increases the color variety as well. I just love your pictures. Cat

Glad that you went to an Al-anon meeting. I'm sure that it felt good to be back in a meeting. I enjoyed the photos. It's a beautiful time of year.

Beautiful pictures.

This time of year my mom likes to tell me over and over again how wonderful New York is. It's her payback for me moving 1200 miles away.

My eyes are drooling over the pictures.

What a blessing to be living in the midst of such beauty.

Great pics....I love birch trees.

Alanon is a life saver for me.

Sorry I'm so behind on your blog.

There'll be lots of great leaf peeping in CT this weekend as well.

We New Englanders are lucky. ;-)

Thanks for the pictures. I'm really enjoying all the color pictures by bloggers from the northeast.

Kathy Lynne said I should see your blog 'cuz I'm an alanoner. I met her while I was doing '30 in 30' which turned into 60 in 60 and, well, you get the picture. I guarantee that if you do a similiar experiment, you will turn 'I try to be good' into 'I know I am good'!
